Jorge
Maldonado
Jorge has built his coaching career from a firm belief that a strong technical foundation is essential for any player to break their own boundaries at a consistent level. Jorge believes that mastering technique in the fundamental areas of soccer is crucial and his primary focus is on individual player development in all areas of the game.
Jorge has journeyed over 9 years coaching with and alongside several youth academies and select clubs in the Austin metropolitan area.
He founded Prime Soccer Development in 2017.

JM began his soccer career with the Dallas Texans (Austin division) from 2007-2008. After a season with the Texans he moved across Austin to join the Lonestar Soccer Club. After a season with the Lonestar 96 White, JM moved on to the 96 Red team and managed to win 3 state titles in row, along with national appearances year round.
JM attended Connally Highschool where he lettered every year on varsity, picking up regional team selections as well as offensive MVP’s, and leading his team to multiple play-off runs throughout his 4 years.
JM has been a consistent part of the St. Edwards University college and I.D. camps. JM also coached at Avila Creative Soccer, a private soccer organization specializing in skills and technique, for four years. JM has also held a plethora of private lessons between his time in and after college around the north and south Austin areas.
JM graduated from St. Edwards University with a BA in Communications, focusing on Advertising and Public Relations in May of 2018. During his 4 years at SEU JM helped his team to 3 conference titles in a row, as well as 4 appearances in the NCAA Division 2 tournament.
JM was born and raised in Austin Texas, and has been a resident since birth. JM’s family life includes his parents, who are both from Accra, Ghana.
